Made It Myself

Tuesday, December 18, 2012

Last night, I finished this set of crocheted flower coasters. Earlier last month, I knew I wanted to make something different. At first, they were only going to be 2-toned, but at the last minute, I decided to crochet the edges with a 3rd color. Also, I was only going to make a set of 2, with each one being a reverse of each other. Then I just had to include a 3rd one to give all colors an equal chance. Here they are-I hope you enjoy the photo.

Tis' the Season for Giving...while "eBay-ing"

This month has been the best I've had, when it comes to eBay. More people bid on my items & bought them. So I earned a few more bucks.  These have been my "best-sellers."

So I sent a couple of them today. If you like these, they can be found on eBay or MadeItMyself. See the banner link further down my blog.

Since I've joined Made It Myself, more items have been listed to sell. If you'd like, go check them out. Today, I listed some duct tape hairbows for sale. They are black/white zebra with green. I have sold a set of them on another auction site.

Tonight I came across an interesting article about crafting and trendspotting. I thought it was interesting & actually learned a few things or got my knowledge reinforced. Here is the link:  Check it out & see what you think.

Crocheted Coasters-RGB

Since I crochet, I decided to make these in a set, as part of my Rainbow Lace Ruffle collection. This is my subcollection, the RGB, which stands for Red, Green, blue. Sometimes, you'll also see these on eBay as well. I know I should make a pattern for this set...

It has been 4 months since anything has been posted, so I'll just let any of my vistors know that I just learned how to do the basic knit stitch about a week ago by a friend. Once I caught on, I was sooo stoked. It was like a crafter's victory after trying to make heads or tails of illustrations, even trying to use videos here on the internet. I did, however, learn how to cast on.  It did help me, so if you want to learn how to knit, here is the link to the Knitting Help website so you can watch those videos. So grab your knitting needles, yarn & click. I'll post some photos shortly so you can see my knitting projects.
I use either Red Heart or Lion Brand yarns.

Also, I added a LinkReferral button to my site, if you have or want to start a blog and have visitors come to your website.  Link your blog to mine if you want.
